Donate to support acquiring, improving and maintaining Oppenlander Fields

Friends of Oppenlander is working under a public/private partnership with the City of West Linn to acquire, improve, and maintain Oppenlander Fields, a 10-acre flat site with three softball fields and a small park area that has been serving West Linn for over 40 years. The West Linn Wilsonville School District is the current owner and has declared Oppenlander as "excess property." The City, wi the support of Friends of Oppenlander was able to pass a $3.5M bond in 2022. If we do not raise enough funds to fill the gap between the existing bond and the School District's $7.8M asking price the fields will be developed into up to 90 homesites resulting in 90 more families in need of recreational resources, and the loss of a park forever.
